It’s rare to need anything that’s as long as 60 feet in your everyday life. In fact, you will probably never need a lot of things measuring this long.
However, knowing some of the items measuring this much is fun and could make great conversation. Today, we lined up thirteen items that measure this much.

They are the largest toothed whales in the world. The males grow about 50 to 60 feet and weigh 40-50 tons.

7. Giant Oarfish
It’s one of the largest in the regalecidae family and is found in the polar region.
It can grow from 36 feet to 60 feet and can weigh up to 270kg. However, the largest to ever be recorded was 110 ft long.
8. Semi-truck
A semi-truck combines a tractor and a trailer. The length varies depending on the type of the tractor and the sleeper cabs.
They are usually 60-70 feet long, although you can customize them to add specs.
9. Shipping containers
Shipping containers are used for shipping, storage. They are made from different materials like reusable steel and ubiquitous corrugated boxes.
As per ISO standard, they are supposed to be 8 to 8.5 ft high. In addition, their length varies and come in different lengths 20,40 and 60 ft.
10. Neoplan Jumbocruiser bus
The Neoplan Jumbocruiser is the longest double-deck bus in the world.
The Neoplan Jumbocruiser was made in 1975 and 1992. It has a width of 8 ft and 13ft height and a length of 59 ft.
11. Bowling Lane
A bowling lane, as per recommendation, is supposed to be 60 feet long. The distance is from the foul line to the center of the headpin.
In addition, the lane width is 41.5 inches which are measured in boards.
12. Cricket pitch
The cricket pitch is about 19.5m(60ft) from end to end. It also has 1.22m after the stumps to provide the return crease and bowler approach area.
The breadth of the pitch is 3.05m. However, the field measurements depend on the level of the cricket tournament being played.
13. Kabaddi pitch
Kabaddi is played in a circular pitch which is 60 to 69 feet. Two teams of 8 players each play the game, and no player leaves the field till the end of the game.
